Producer
Julia Dunetz
Growing up in New York City, I discovered at a very young age that theatre and storytelling were more than just a hobby for me -- by middle school I aspired to become a Broadway Producer. I spent my pre-college years absorbing as much practical experience as possible, and during my years at Cornell University, I had the opportunity to work on roughly thirty Broadway productions through internships at: marketing agencies, Situation Interactive and SpotCo, producing office, Harbor Entertainment, and general management firm, RCI Theatricals. While in my senior year of college, I served as Associate Producer on the national tour of the folk-punk musical, HUNDRED DAYS. Following graduation, I made my Broadway producing debut as a Co-Producer on SEA WALL / A LIFE, the play for which I received my first Tony Award-Nomination. Most recently, I was the Associate Producer at Seaview Productions where I had the privilege of working on many extraordinary shows, including Jeremy O. Harris' SLAVE PLAY. I could not be more thrilled to be a part of the Level Forward team where I get to further my passion for making positive social change through stories on stage and screen.
How I Level Forward: I work to pave the way for the young women who will come after me by participating in mentorship programs, always saying "yes" to a coffee meeting, and looking for opportunities to engage young women who aspire to be in the entertainment space. I model myself after the incredible women who have mentored and shaped me, so my hope is to do the same for the next generation of creators and changemakers.
